China Construction Bank (Europe) Co., Ltd. Hungarian Branch Officially opened in Budapest
The opening ceremony of Hungarian branch of China Construction Bank (Europe) Co., Ltd. was held in Budapest on April 19th. Tian Guoli, Chairman of China Construction Bank, Naji mardon, Minister of Hungarian Economic Development, Yang Chao, Chargé d 'affaires of China Embassy in Hungary, and more than 300 guests from Chinese and Hungarian governments, enterprises and financial institutions attended the ceremony.
Tian Guoli said in his speech that China-Hungary friendship has a long history, is firm and profound.CCB Hungary Branch will provide more comprehensive and high-quality financial services for China-Hungary economic and trade cooperation. In addition, CCB has set up a financial technology product innovation laboratory in Hungary, and the two countries will jointly explore the future development direction of financial technology.
Nagy Márton, Minister of Economic Development of Hungary, congratulated the establishment of the Hungarian branch of China Construction Bank. He hoped that this would open the way for the further development of Hungary, and hoped that China Construction Bank would help Hungarian companies to enter the China market and help introduce China investment into Hungary.
Yang Chao, Chargé d 'affaires of the Embassy of China in Hungary, said that the opening of CCB Hungary Branch will not only help China and Hungary to expand pragmatic cooperation, but also provide new channels for innovative cooperation between the two countries. It is hoped that the financial institutions of the two countries will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and inject new momentum into the joint construction of "the belt and road initiative".
According to Hungarian media reports, as early as the beginning of 2020, China Construction Bank began to prepare to set up a branch in Hungary. China Construction Bank, the second largest asset bank in the world, is headquartered in Luxemburg.
In the future, the operation of CCB Hungary Branch will be based in Hungary and radiate to Central and Eastern Europe, providing products and services for relevant investment and economic and trade exchanges between China, Hungary and China.
