Delving into the China-Europe cooperation track to empower win-win cross-border industrial development. On the afternoon of July 8, 2026, the “Invest in Wuwei: Into Hungary” investment promotion conference was successfully held at the OuQiao Technology Industrial Park in Budapest. The event opened with the premiere of a promotional video on Wuhu. The film presented, comprehensively and in three dimensions, Wuhu’s standing as a sub-center city of Anhui Province, its overall strength and its excellent business environment, highlighting its complete industrial clusters, supply-chain advantages and development momentum in core industries such as new energy vehicles and wires and cables. This vivid and intuitive presentation gave European business representatives a deeper understanding of Wuhu’s investment potential and opportunities, laying a solid foundation for targeted matchmaking and in-depth cooperation at the conference.
In the promotion session, Kuang Jian gave a detailed presentation on Wuwei’s core strengths, including its industrial base, geographic advantages and business environment. Taking into account Hungary’s location as a European transport hub and its status as a core cluster for the automotive and auto-parts industries, he focused on key sectors such as new energy vehicle components, wires and cables, high-end equipment manufacturing, and food and nuts, and introduced Wuwei’s complete industrial supply chain and development strengths in detail.
He said that Wuwei and Hungary are highly compatible and strongly complementary, with broad room for cooperation in upstream and downstream automotive collaboration, smart manufacturing upgrades and cross-border trade. He sincerely hoped that companies on both sides would deepen engagement and move forward together, explore cooperation opportunities, and achieve mutual empowerment and win-win development.
In his remarks, Li Xin noted that Wuhu’s industrial development has accelerated across the board in recent years, building a strong modern industrial system that provides robust support for the opening-up and cross-border development of Wuhu and Wuwei. He hoped to use this overseas investment promotion conference as an important opportunity to keep deepening cooperation between Wuhu, Wuwei, Hungary and other Central and Eastern European countries in industrial synergy, technological innovation, talent exchange and economic and trade ties, to continue building a regular, two-way bridge for China-Europe cooperation, and to bring more high-quality industrial projects to fruition.

At the event, Zhan Xiaorong, President of the Hungary Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of OuQiao Industrial, and Zhan Jingbo, General Manager of OuQiao Industrial, gave guests a detailed introduction to the park’s current development, industrial layout, service system and cross-border empowerment strengths. They said the park will continue to build on its core advantage of location in Central and Eastern Europe, deepen its China-Europe economic and trade services, and keep improving its full-chain services in cross-border incubation, project matchmaking, settlement support and resource connection, so as to fully support more Anhui and Chinese enterprises in developing the Central and Eastern European market and to promote deeper integration and mutual benefit between the industries of both places.
