Park Tour — Witnessing Development
Accompanied by park leadership, the delegation conducted an in-depth tour of the park's construction. The park's predecessor was the Ikarus Industrial Park, which was acquired by Ouqiao Industrial Group in 2019 and upgraded to become the Ouqiao Industrial Park in Hungary. After years of careful cultivation, the park's environment and infrastructure have been comprehensively optimized, and its investment attraction and operational capabilities have significantly improved. Currently, the park has attracted more than 150 enterprises, gradually forming a mature industrial cluster ecosystem centered on manufacturing, R&D, logistics, and services. As a key overseas service platform for Anhui, the park provides comprehensive, one-stop supporting services for resident enterprises, efficiently assisting Chinese enterprises to "go global" and establish and thrive in the European market.

The symposium opened with the resounding Anhui Province promotional film. From the innovative vitality of Hefei to the poetic mountains and waters of Chizhou, from the hard strength of a province strong in manufacturing to the soft environment of a technological highland, Anhui's new look filled those present with pride. The meeting was chaired by Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce Executive President and Ouqiao Industrial General Manager Zhan Jingbo, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce President and Ouqiao Industrial Chairman Zhan Xiaorong stated in his speech that this year marks the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. Against the backdrop of the deep alignment between the "Belt and Road Initiative" and Hungary's "Open to the East" policy, the visit of the Anhui Overseas Chinese Federation delegation carries extraordinary significance. He reviewed the efforts made by the Chamber since its establishment in serving Anhui-origin overseas Chinese, promoting Sino-Hungarian cooperation in economic and trade, technology, culture, and other fields, and emphasized that the Ouqiao Industrial Park is a vivid example of Anhui enterprises "going global."

He then provided a detailed introduction to Anhui Province's significant progress in technological innovation, manufacturing upgrading, and foreign trade development, pointing out that Anhui currently maintains strong development momentum, while also continuously achieving new breakthroughs in cultural exchange and community activities.
President Wang emotionally said that he was very pleased to see everyone's spirit of hard work, solidarity, and mutual assistance abroad. He sincerely invited overseas Chinese to come back to Anhui frequently to visit and personally experience the vigorous energy of their hometown. "Anhui is willing to further deepen ties with overseas Chinese, build bridges of friendship, and explore new chapters of development," President Wang Wangmiao emphasized, "Whether in the field of overseas Chinese organization cooperation or cultural exchange, we look forward to providing overseas Chinese with better services and guarantees."

Following the symposium, a brief appointment ceremony was held, at which Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce Executive President and Ouqiao Industrial General Manager Zhan Jingbo was appointed as an Overseas Committee Member of the Anhui Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation. Zhan Jingbo stated that this honor also carries a weighty responsibility. He pledged to make good use of his own and the park's platform advantages to actively serve as a bridge and link, showcasing Anhui's image to the world and spreading Anhui's voice, and would more effectively leverage the Ouqiao Industrial Park's functions as an Anhui overseas service node, contributing greater strength to hometown enterprises going global and to deepening Sino-European economic, trade, and cultural exchanges.

The successful visit of the Anhui Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation delegation greatly boosted the confidence of overseas Chinese in Hungary, and also injected new impetus into the Ouqiao Industrial Park's efforts to further strengthen its role as the core node of Anhui's overseas service network.
