On October 24, 2025, the Ouqiao Industrial Park in Hungary welcomed distinguished guests from afar. Xu Jianguo, Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Overseas Chinese Association, led the Heilongjiang Overseas Chinese Association visiting delegation for an on-site inspection of the park. This visit was not only an in-depth field survey, but also a heartfelt dialogue connecting Heilongjiang with Europe and gathering the hearts and strength of overseas Chinese.

That day, the atmosphere in the park was enthusiastic. Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce President and Ouqiao Industrial Chairman Zhan Xiaorong, President Gan Puhua, General Manager Zhan Jingbo, Hungarian Chinese Chamber of Commerce President Xu Zhijian, 20th President of the European Chinese Association and Hungarian Chinese Investors' Chamber of Commerce President Ye Jianxin, President of the Hungarian Chinese Women's Federation Yu Jing, and Golden Homeland Group Chairman Zhang Wenguo and other park leaders and well-known overseas Chinese community representatives warmly received President Xu Jianguo and his delegation. Accompanied by Chairman Zhan Xiaorong and others, the visiting delegation toured the park's cultural center, learning in detail about the park's industrial positioning, operational model, development plans, and achievements in promoting Sino-European technology and industrial cooperation.

At the symposium, Chairman Zhan Xiaorong first extended a warm welcome to President Xu Jianguo and his delegation, and provided a detailed introduction to Ouqiao Industrial's background, development history, and future strategy, also expressing keen interest in the development opportunities of important provinces like Heilongjiang, hoping to use this visit as an opportunity to build a solid platform for exchange and cooperation with Heilongjiang.

President Xu Jianguo spoke highly of the Ouqiao Industrial Park's forward-looking plans, complete supporting facilities, and its role as a bridge in Sino-European economic, trade, and technological exchanges. He stated that the park has provided an excellent platform for overseas Chinese to innovate and start businesses, and has also opened an important channel for Chinese technology, products, and services to enter the European market.

During the symposium, President Xu Jianguo introduced Heilongjiang Province's significant advantages and great potential in economic and social development in recent years, particularly in modern agriculture, high-end equipment manufacturing, ice and snow economy, biopharmaceuticals, and new materials. He emphasized that Heilongjiang Province is at a critical period of revitalization and development, with the pace of opening up continuously accelerating, and places great importance on exchanges and cooperation with overseas Chinese. The Provincial Overseas Chinese Association is committed to widely connecting and uniting people from all walks of life at home and abroad to gather strength for Longjiang's development. He sincerely welcomed overseas Chinese community leaders and park enterprises to visit Heilongjiang for inspections and investment, to share development opportunities and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
The overseas Chinese community leaders at the meeting spoke one after another, freely sharing views on how to strengthen cooperation between Hungary and even the Central and Eastern European region with Heilongjiang Province in the fields of technology, economic and trade, culture, and talent, offering many valuable opinions and suggestions. Drawing on their years of experience developing in Hungary, they shared the stories of Chinese businesspeople's struggles abroad, as well as the efforts and contributions of various overseas Chinese organizations and Chinese-invested enterprises in promoting overseas Chinese affairs and serving overseas Chinese. The on-site exchange was candid and in-depth, sparking many sparks of cooperation.

Members of the visiting delegation expressed that they were deeply moved by the stories of struggle and spirit of dedication of overseas Chinese in Hungary. They not only witnessed the thriving development of Chinese-invested enterprises represented by the Ouqiao Industrial Park in Hungary, but also deeply felt the patriotic feelings of the Hungarian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and other associations in uniting overseas Chinese and maintaining a connection to their homeland.
The successful visit of the Heilongjiang Overseas Chinese Association delegation has laid a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between the Ouqiao Industrial Park in Hungary and Heilongjiang Province. It not only deepened Heilongjiang's understanding of the overseas Chinese situation and Hungary's investment and entrepreneurship environment, but also fully demonstrated Heilongjiang's sincerity in opening up and its broad space for development to overseas Chinese.
