On September 17th, Ji Daoqing, Secretary of the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress in Hubei Province, led a party and government delegation to visit and inspect the Hungarian European Overseas Science and Technology Industrial Park. The delegation members include Yan Chibin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Tianmen Economic Development Zone, Liu Juan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Houkou Street, Tianmen City, Zhou Qirong, Secretary and Director of the Party Group of Tianmen Development and Reform Commission, Chen Mingmin, Secretary and Director of the Party Group of Tianmen Economic and Information Bureau, Yan Mei, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Tianmen Economic Development Zone, Jin Bo, Chairman of Hubei Tianrui Electronics Co., Ltd., Chen Jianwang, Chairman of Hubei Yitai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Zhang Ping'an, Chairman of Hubei Hongtian Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., and Liu Changguo, Chairman of Hubei Renfu Chengtian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Zhan Xiaorong, Chairman of Ouqiao Industrial, Gan Puhua, President, and Zhan Jingbo, General Manager, warmly welcomed the delegation's arrival. Under the guidance of the staff, the delegation visited the park museum and conducted on-site inspections of Chinese funded enterprises such as manufacturing and assembly, logistics and warehousing in the park. Through the visit and introduction along the way, the delegation learned about the development history, industrial layout, and future development direction of the Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park.

Subsequently, the delegation had a discussion and exchange with the main leaders of the 16 districts of Budapest government, local chambers of commerce, and representatives of enterprises at the Cultural Center of the European Overseas Technology Industrial Park.

The symposium was chaired by Zhan Jingbo, General Manager of Hungary Ouqiao Industrial Group. He said that today is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival in China, and as we are overseas, we feel very familiar with the arrival of the delegation from Tianmen City. On this special day, Chinese and Hungarian guests gather together to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

Gan Puhua, President of Guangzhou Hubei Tianmen Chamber of Commerce and President of Ouqiao Industrial Group, said in his speech at the symposium that firstly, on behalf of Ouqiao Industrial, he welcomed the visit of the Tianmen delegation. The Hungarian European Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Industrial Park was established in the east wind of the "the Belt and Road”. Hungary has stable politics and close and friendly relations with China. He mentioned that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. In May, Chinese leaders visited Hungary, and the two countries upgraded their relations to a "new era all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership". These events have provided new impetus for the development of bilateral relations and injected a shot in the arm for the development of the European Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Industrial Park. The development of the park also relies on the support and assistance of officials at all levels of the Budapest Sixteen District Government. Currently and in the near future, "enterprise going global" will become a key keyword in the Chinese economy, including global layouts in engineering, warehousing, logistics, and other industries. Several listed companies in these industries have already settled in the Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park.
President Gan Puhua emphasized that Tianmen is currently focusing on promoting the "dual concentration" development of urban and industrial areas. We are willing to provide assistance for Tinmen’s textile and clothing, equipment manufacturing, and new production capacity enterprises to go global. We will also make every effort to organize and coordinate overseas Chinese businessmen to visit Tianmen City and seek interactive and coordinated development.

Kova á cs P é ter, the mayor of Budapest's 16th district, also welcomed the visit of the Tianmen city delegation. He said that he is pleased to introduce numerous Chinese advantageous enterprises and technologies into Hungary through the European Overseas Technology Industrial Park and settle in the 16th district of Budapest. These enterprises have contributed to our development and achieved a win-win situation for all parties involved. The 16th district of Budapest is located in the northern part of the city and is one of the most beautiful areas in terms of environment. The number of Chinese expatriates living in the district ranks second among the 23 districts of Budapest, and residents get along well with each other. The 16th district sincerely hopes that Chinese enterprises can strengthen cooperation and invest in this area.

Ji Daoqing, Secretary of the Tianmen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, said that on this occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we have the opportunity to meet from thousands of miles away. We would like to thank the 16th District Government and Ouqiao Industry for their warm reception. Budapest has left us with a good impression as a beautiful livable and business friendly city on the banks of the Danube River, with many aspects worth referencing and learning from.
He introduced that Tianmen City is a city with ancient cultural heritage, a famous hometown of tea culture, and also a hometown of overseas Chinese in Hubei. It is rich in resources and has a developed textile industry. We see that the Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park has excellent environmental advantages and great potential for cooperation in agricultural and sideline products, processing industries, and new energy products. Ji Daoqing expressed his sincere welcome to District Mayor Kovach Peter leading a delegation to visit Tianmen City.

Zhan Jingbo, General Manager, finally concluded: "There is no distance between the two countries, but there is still a distance of ten thousand miles. China and Hungary are separated by ten thousand miles, but the traditional friendship has a long history. On the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary, China Hungary relations have been upgraded to a new era all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation, and the two countries are entering the golden lane.
