On February 23, 2023, the Council and Annual Meeting of Anhui Overseas Chinese Investment Enterprise Association was held in Hefei. Zhang Ximing, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, Zhang Qiming, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial CPC Committee and director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Li Shiyun, secretary of the party group and chairman of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and other leaders attended the meeting.

Zhang Ximing, member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, said in his speech at the meeting, one of the characteristics of overseas Chinese in Anhui is that there are many overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese enterprises in science and technology. One by one, key technologies have achieved breakthroughs from "0 to 1", filling the gap in Anhui Province and even the domestic gap, and a batch of scientific and technological enterprises have focused on high-precision industries, overcome the problem of stuck necks, and realized from "following" to "running" and even "leading”. It is hoped that the majority of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese enterprises will strengthen technological innovation, better help Anhui's high-quality development, and create a source of scientific and technological innovation.

Zhang Ximing said that overseas Chinese businessmen should be good guides for the young generation of overseas Chinese, gather care and strength from all walks of life, continue to vigorously promote the integration of young people into the overall situation of national development, participate in the construction of a modern and beautiful Anhui, and strive to build more platforms and ladders for young people to help them love the country and their hometown and become adults。
The "Outstanding Overseas Chinese Business Award", "Innovative Overseas Chinese Enterprise Award" and "Potential Overseas Chinese Enterprise Award" were presented at the event. Zhan Jingbo, general manager of Anhui Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd., won the "Outstanding Overseas Chinese Business Award".

Anhui Overseas Chinese Enterprises Association has nearly 150 member enterprises, which are an indispensable and important force for promoting the high-quality development of Anhui, and they have played a bridging role in Sino-foreign cooperation. Since its establishment, Ouqiao Industry has given full play to its own advantages of overseas Chinese businessmen and actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiatives and policies of governments at all levels of the country. Build the first European overseas park in Anhui Province, build a platform for Anhui enterprises to "go global", promote the agglomeration effect of Anhui's advantageous industries overseas, and contribute overseas Chinese wisdom and overseas Chinese strength to the construction of modern and beautiful Anhui in the new stage.
In the next step, Ouqiao Industry will make use of the Hungarian Ouqiao Science and Technology Industrial Park to play a good role in the "going out" and "bringing in" of Anhui enterprises, so as to tell Chinese stories well, spread Anhui's voice, carry out international economic and trade exchanges, and promote Anhui's higher level of opening up and high-quality development.
