Szijjarto introduced the current situation in Europe and Hungary, especially the economic and financial challenges that Hungary faces due to the spillover from the Ukraine crisis. He said that Hungary is pleased with the achievements of Hungary-China cooperation in various fields, especially the smooth progress of economic, trade and investment cooperation. Wang Yi said that the Chinese side cherishes the trust and friendship established with the Hungarian side, appreciates the Hungarian side's consistent upholding justice in China-related affairs, understands China's legitimate proposition, supports the Chinese side in safeguarding its legitimate rights and interests, and is willing to work with the Hungarian side to build China-Hungary relations. It is a model of state-to-state relations with more mature and mutual trust.
China will continue to unswervingly pursue a friendly policy towards Hungary, hold a positive and open attitude towards mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides, and support Chinese enterprises to invest and start businesses in Hungary. It is understood that in recent years, Hungary has repeatedly supported China on international issues.
