Art Connected People's Hearts Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of China-Hungary Diplomatic Relations
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic, and it is also the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. To commemorate this special year, the Chinese and Hungarian governments have arranged a series of cultural exchanges and cooperation activities since the beginning of the year.
On September 10th, the official literary evening hosted by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade at the Budapest Palace of Art to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary will once again push the already-changing and brightly-respected celebrations to a new high. Deputy Minister Levent said at the party that "the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is a very important milestone, especially since Hungary's 'open east' policy and the 'One Belt and One Road' docking in less than 10 years, brought to Hungary the change is bigger than in the past 60 years. I can only clarify the facts by citing a few simple data: Hungary’s exports to China have more than doubled, of which agricultural exports have increased 13 times, and China’s investment in Hungary has reached 4.5 billion, making Hungary to attract China with the most investment in central and eastern Europe. We emphasize pragmatic cooperation with China, whether it is domestic or foreign trade, it is unthinkable without China. In the future, we will continue to strengthen cooperation with China so that the relations between Hungary and China will become more mature, thus bringing greater benefits to the two peoples.

Red hot has always been the main color of the celebration

Strong atmosphere.
At the same time, the Hungarian government has successively held the Budapest Festival, the Hungarian Contemporary Art Exhibition, the National Day Lighting Photo Collection, the Hungarian Dessert Month, and the Hungarian Bartok Bella Male Choir to visit China to let the Chinese people go further familiar with Hungarian culture and have received wide acclaim. In the solo exhibition held by Hungarian contemporary artist Susanna in Chongqing, most of the 30 works were created in China, and a lot of red was used to express the artist's feelings for China. This is a small epitome of the common people.
The documentary "Witness of Friendship", filmed by Huang Qiying, chairman and producer of Hafrest International Culture Media, has entered the post-production process. The film will be broadcast in Hungary as a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. The film has filmed and interviewed more than 20 Chinese and Hungarian friends. Huang Qiying said, "As a media person, I have the responsibility to record the witnesses and promoters of the Chinese-Hungarian friendship and let their stories become the direction of continuing friendship."
The cultural exchange activities between the two countries are rich and colorful, mainly due to the deepening of political mutual trust between China and Hungary, the economic and trade achievements, and the exchanges in other fields are still in the ascendant. The relationship between the two countries is at its best in history. Chinese Ambassador to Hungary Duan Jielong said: "The exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the humanities field are at the forefront of China's cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries. The number of Chinese tourists to Hungary has increased year by year. In 2018, the number of visits between the two countries reached more than 250,000, a record high. The fifth Confucius Institute was established at the University of Debrecen in Hungary, and more than 2,200 Chinese students studied in Hungary. These have laid a solid foundation for public opinion."
Professional art exchanges add color to celebrations
In August, 22 Chinese oil painters including Luo Zhongli, President of the China Academy of Contemporary Art, were invited to visit Hungary. They used their oil brushes to paint the scenery, architecture and unique culture of Hungary, and successfully held the “New Age Maritime Silk Road” - Hungary's large-scale oil painting exhibition under the Chinese oil painting masters. Hungarian Congress President Kövér László told reporters during the exhibition. "I was surprised and happy to see my high school appear in Chinese oil painters. The era of artificial intelligence cannot only deepen each other by watching mobile phones. Understanding and understanding, art exchanges including oil paintings will make the two peoples feel more cordial. This kindness is the best interpretation of the current good Sino-Hungarian relations."
In another international exhibition of Chinese characters, the "Chinese Characters", which was hosted by the Economic Daily "Art and Design" magazine and the Chinese Character Museum, the first time it was held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, it was welcomed by the public. The atmosphere was lively and interactive. positive. Hungarian national television camera reporter Mila has been filming until the closing of the day. Hungarian writers and translators have won the “China Book Special Contribution Award”, the highest publishing award set up by the Chinese government for overseas for three consecutive years. This award has only 10 winners per year, which explains the depth of cultural exchange between the two countries.
Traditional Chinese medicine is another example. Chinese medicine not only has legal support in Hungary, but also offers Chinese medicine in medical schools. More and more local students are learning Chinese medicine Chen Zhen, chairman of the Hungarian Oriental Medicine Group, said: "This year the Hungarian government hosted the second session of the Chinese Medicine Forum. They also have their own acupuncture associations, drawing on the concept of TCM treatment, and now 'prevention' has become the work of the Hungarian Ministry of Health. One of the key points is that Chinese medicine has become a part of the world culture. Thanks to this soil and foundation of mutual learning and common aspirations, Chinese medicine can continue to develop well."
Today, the stories of cultural exchanges between China and Hungary are being told every day, and mutual understanding of civilizations is continuing. This is reflected in the stamp of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary issued by the Hungarian Post Office. There are two stamps, one designed by the Chinese designer and the traveler-in-Chinese painter Zhao Wenjie. The main pattern is the Chinese peony-green vase and the famous Héland porcelain in Hungary. The Hungarian designer Marty Alexandra uses China's Xiangyun and Hungarian traditional embroidery patterns.
At the moment, China's high-speed rail, online shopping, Alipay, and shared bicycles have not only changed China, but also profoundly affected the fashion of the global village. She said: "Hungarians who love Chinese culture are mostly using WeChat. I have been to China many times. The last time I went to China, I used the WeChat payment on the Internet to successfully purchase a high-speed rail ticket and experienced China's high-speed rail. Every time I go, I can feel that China has changed, both close and familiar.
