On September 1st, Li Huiyue, Deputy Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Committee of Fujian Province, China, led an economic and trade delegation to visit and inspect the Hungarian European Overseas Technology Industrial Park. The delegation was led by Zhan Yanqing, Deputy Secretary General of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, Director of the General Office and First level Inspector, Yao Yuping, Director of Xiamen Internet Information Office, Ke Biru, President of Xiamen Municipal Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zheng Yongda, General Manager of Xiamen Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., Gao Shaoyong, General Manager of Xiamen International Trade Holding Group Co., Ltd., Zhuang Yuanyuan, Deputy Director of Xiamen Natural Resources and Planning Bureau and Deputy General Commander of Xiang'an Southern Area Development and Construction Headquarters, Li Zhike, Secretary General of Xiamen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Zhang Linlin, Director of Membership Department of Xiamen International Chamber of Commerce.

Zhan Xiaorong, President of the Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Ouqiao Industrial Group, warmly welcomed the delegation's arrival. After visiting the park museum and the settled enterprises, the members of the delegation had a discussion with overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs.

Also attending the symposium were representatives of Hungarian overseas Chinese, Huang Minghui, President of the Hungarian Fuqing Association, Mei Guolan, Chairman of Hong Kong Huisida Holdings Limited, Liu Manman, Technical Director of Hungarian Minglida, and Zhang Yiming, President of the Hungarian Chinese Traditional Culture Study Association.

At the symposium, Chairman Zhan Xiaorong introduced the basic situation and investment environment of Hungary to the delegation, and said that under the "the Belt and Road" initiative, China Hungary relations are at the best time in history. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The visit of Chinese leaders to Hungary in May was a complete success, and the leaders of the two countries have jointly elevated their bilateral relations to a new era of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership, pushing the bilateral relations to an unprecedented new height with broad prospects for cooperation.

In addition, Chairman Zhan Xiaorong specially pointed out that Ouqiao Industrial's corporate philosophy is "integration into the Belt and Road and mutual benefit and win-win". The company will continue to actively participate in various investment promotion and economic and trade activities under the theme of "the Belt and Road", and play a role in domestic service trade. Xiamen enterprises are also very welcome to invest and cooperate in Hungary. Ouqiao Industry will build a bridge for exchanges and cooperation between China and Hungary, and make every effort to promote higher levels of cooperation between the two sides.
Li Huiyue, Deputy Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, affirmed the contributions made by entrepreneurs in promoting the development of China and Hungary in various aspects. And it was stated that the visiting delegation's main purpose for this trip is to investigate the business environment in Hungary, research opportunities for enterprise cooperation, investment risks, and other situations, hoping to receive good advice from overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs who have been deeply cultivating and working in Hungary for many years. He also introduced that Xiamen, as an economically developed port city on the southeast coast of China, has the advantages of convenient transportation and strong economic vitality. In recent years, Xiamen has achieved significant development in various fields and welcomes entrepreneurs to invest and purchase properties.
