In order to promote practical cooperation in various fields between Anhui and Hungary, the Anhui Provincial Economic and Trade Delegation, represented by Fei Gaoyun, Executive Vice Governor of Anhui Provincial People's Government, Wang Hong, Director of Anhui Provincial State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Gu Jianfeng, Director of Anhui Provincial Department of Finance, Yang Xiaolin, Deputy Director of Anhui Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Ge Rui, Executive Vice Mayor of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, and Zhang Dongyi, Executive Vice Mayor of Wuhu City, Anhui Province, visited Hungary, And on November 14th, an Anhui Province Economic and Trade Symposium was held at Hungary Ouqiao Industrial Park.

During the meeting, Fei Gaoyun, Executive Vice Governor of Anhui Provincial People's Government, Liu Bo, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, and Zhan Xiaorong, the first president of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Hungary.

Fei Gaoyun, Executive Vice Governor of Anhui Province, pointed out in his speech that the delegation's visit is to enhance friendship between China and Hungary, Anhui Province and Hungary, and further promote deep cooperation in more fields. Fei Gaoyun briefly introduced the situation, economic development vitality, and good development trend of Anhui Province, and warmly welcomed Hungarian enterprises to invest and cooperate in Anhui Province, enjoying the huge market opportunities brought by high-quality development in Anhui Province.
Fei Gaoyun said that in recent years, many Anhui enterprises represented by Ouqiao Company have "gone abroad" to Europe and continuously increased their investment in Hungary, making positive contributions to promoting economic and trade cooperation between Anhui and Hungary, and even with Europe. Fei Gaoyun congratulates the newly established Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Hungary and hopes that the Chamber will actively play a bridging role in serving enterprises and overseas Chinese in Anhui.

Liu Bo, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, stated that in recent years, with the joint efforts of China and Hungary, bilateral relations have maintained a good development momentum and practical cooperation has continued to deepen. Thanks to good bilateral relations and Hungary's stable investment environment, Hungary has long maintained China as the largest investment destination in Central and Eastern Europe, and China is also Hungary's largest trading partner outside of Europe.
Anhui Province, as a major province in East China, boasts booming emerging industries such as automobiles, photovoltaics, and information technology. Its business environment is highly praised, providing favorable development conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises and attracting many well-known enterprises to invest in Anhui. Anhui Province has a long history of friendly exchanges with Hungary, and established a friendly provincial-state relationship with the Hungarian state of Solnok in 2017, resulting in fruitful economic and trade cooperation.

Zhan Xiaorong, the first president of the Hungarian Anhui Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of Ouqiao Industrial Group, said that Ouqiao Industrial Science and Technology Industrial Park responded to the "the Belt and Road" initiative and successfully held a number of cultural, economic and trade exchanges between Anhui and Hungary in more than four years; Multiple cultural activities have been held with Chinese communities within the European Overseas Chinese Cultural Center; During the process of assisting Ukrainian refugees, the auditorium of the European Overseas Chinese Cultural Center also served as a temporary aid station; During the epidemic, we also donated epidemic prevention supplies to the district government.
Zhan Xiaorong said that there are currently over 250 Anhui compatriots in Hungary, and there are also more and more enterprises in Anhui, Hungary. The Anhui Chamber of Commerce will adhere to the purpose of building a bridge of economic and trade friendship between China and Hungary, gather the strength of overseas Chinese, help each other, and share the experience accumulated in practice with more Anhui enterprises.

During the conference, Ge Rui, Executive Vice Mayor of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, and Zhang Dong, Executive Vice Mayor of Wuhu City, respectively gave presentations on the city's situation. Suga Yanos, Vice Chairman and Chief Strategic Officer of Hungarian Market Construction Group, and Chen Na, Head of Minglida Hungary, introduced their respective situations.

Before the symposium, the attendees also visited the Ikarus Museum and the Overseas Chinese Museum in the cultural center of the Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park, as well as the settled enterprises in the park.
