Along Changning Avenue in Hefei High-tech Zone all the way to the south, on the west side of the intersection with Baiyanwan Road, tall and spacious modern factories are scattered, which is the newly built high-tech zone integrated circuit headquarters base.
Recently, the integrated circuit headquarters base in Hefei High-tech Zone has been fully completed and will soon be put into use. It is reported that the project started construction in September 2020. The project covers an area of 170 mu, with a total construction area of 334,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan, with 18 single buildings, mainly for the construction of single-family headquarters, standardized workshops, public service platforms, incubators and comprehensive supporting houses.

Integrated circuit industry is a basic, leading and strategic industry related to the overall situation of national economy and social development, and it is also a core industry to accelerate the upgrading of digital economy and support the high-quality development of new infrastructure. In terms of integrated circuits, the government began to explore in 2012, and successively established three integrated circuit bases, namely Hefei Economic Development Zone, High-tech Zone and Xinzhan High-tech Zone. In 2018, Hefei successively launched "Several Policies for Accelerating the Development of Software Industry and Integrated Circuit Industry in Hefei" and "Standards for Accreditation of High-level Talents in Software and Integrated Circuit Industry in Hefei (for Trial Implementation)" to fully support the development of integrated circuit industry. Committed to building "the capital of IC design".
As the core bearing area of the development of integrated circuit industry in Hefei, Hefei High-tech Zone is vigorously carrying out the action of strengthening the chain to supplement the chain and lead the chain to further enhance the industrial ecological agglomeration. In 2015, Hefei High-tech Zone was approved as the development base of integrated circuit industry in Anhui Province. After years of cultivation and development, an industrial chain covering design, manufacturing, packaging and testing, materials, equipment and supporting services has been initially formed.
