On April 30, Gan Puhua, President of Ouqiao Industrial Group, and Miao Ji, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xi’an International Port District, discussed cooperation matters. Huang Dehai, deputy dean of the Belt and Road Strategic Research Institute of Tsinghua University, and Zhan Jingbo, general manager of Anhui Ouqiao Industrial, participated.

Miao Ji extended his welcome to Gan Puhua and his entourage for their visit to the Xi'an International Port Area. He said that Xi’an International Port District is an economic pilot zone established by Shaanxi Province and Xi’an City to create a new highland of inland reform and opening up. It is an important starting point and main platform for provinces and cities to implement the national "One Belt, One Road" initiative and build a large channel for opening up to the outside world. The China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) assembly center that is being built is highly compatible with the industrial development direction of the European Overseas Chinese Park. It is hoped that both parties will strengthen exchanges and promote more high-quality project cooperation.

Gan Puhua said, the development strategy of Xi'an International Port District is clear, and the location advantages of inland ports are obvious. This visit really felt the huge development potential and good business environment. Ouqiao Industrial has been engaged in overseas investment and China-EU economic and trade development for a long time. In recent years, it has successfully acquired the Hungarian Ouqiao Science and Technology Industrial Park, and strives to build it into an overseas modern comprehensive industrial park with efficient operation, technological innovation, and complete supporting facilities. We hope to build a bridge with Xi'an International Port Area to enable industry linkage and facilitate talent contacts.
During the visit, Mr. Gan Puhua, President of Ouqiao Industrial Group, and his entourage conducted on-site inspections of the “Belt and Road” Lingang Industrial Park project and the China-Europe Railway Express Operation Center of Xi’an Port, and held discussions with relevant departments of Xi’an International Port Area.
