Ouqiao Industrial Successfully Acquired the Ikarus Industrial Park in Hungary
Anhui Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. established a wholly-owned subsidiary Hungary Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. in Hungary in May 2019. It plans to expand its overseas market through subsidiaries and improve its overseas layout to realize the development strategy of Anhui Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd.
In July 2019, Anhui Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. acquired a total of 500 mu of land and 110,000m2 of ground buildings in the former national Ikarus Industrial Park in Budapest, Hungary, through a wholly-owned subsidiary. Planning to establish a Hungary Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park.
Company investors Xiaorong Zhan, Puhua Gan and Lihong Zhan are all overseas Chinese. The company plans to invest 1.5 billion rmb in 5 years to upgrade the existing infrastructure of the acquired park. The project will operate under the “Hungary Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park” with an initial investment of approximately 20 million Euros for the acquisition and upgrading of the park project. After the park is fully launched, the annual output value will exceed one billion euros, and the employment will exceed 1,000.
Upon completion, the Hungary Ouqiao Technology Industrial Park will include the following industries:
1. High-tech research and development, innovation and cooperation incubator
2. Data Economy, International E-commerce and Logistics Park
3. Photovoltaic power generation, new energy vehicles, smart electrical appliance production park
4. Cultural Tourism, Art Exchange and Economic and Trade Exhibition Park
Anhui Ouqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. will build the park into a green, environmentally friendly and garden-like high-tech industrial park around the above four aspects. The company will provide “one-stop” service for enterprises entering the park, play an important role in helping enterprises develop and deal with local policy relations, break the strangeness and discomfort of domestic enterprises to the region, and reduce the risk and cost of “going out” of enterprises. Built the park to become a model for strategic cooperation in the “One Belt and One Road” initiative.
